Inflated Egos vs. the Real Thing

There’s a huge difference between an Inflated Ego and the Real Thing.

Many times, it is the person with the allegedly big ego who is a person saddled with either the wrong view of reality or a less than stellar talent.

To make up for it, the person inflates their importance or puts other people down.

Their so-called “big ego” is, in fact, a deluded or weak ego trying to compensate for its lack.

What’s interesting is that without ego we would become human vegetables, ready for harvesting by the enemies of freedom.

Think about that when you hear someone denigrate ego.

Yes, there are annoying people in the world who seem to have enormous egos.

Yet they wouldn’t need to advertise how wonderful they are if they had a strong ego.

They have phony egos and people mistake them for the real thing.

So, don’t denigrate the ego. You need it to survive.

A strong, healthy ego is your salvation, not your original sin!
