Capitalism recognizes the prime importance of human initiative and motivation.

It recognizes your right to own your mind and body, thus the products of your mind and body.

In a fundamental sense, capitalism is egoism applied to economics, not from a far-off collective view, but rather up close and personal.

In other words, Capitalism and egoism are philosophical roommates.

Capitalism is the application of egoism to your economic life — your ability to create and trade value — your ability to earn your living.

That is the reason both capitalism and egoism are hated by the anti-ego, anti-business, anti-world trade, anti-pleasure, and anti-happiness, anti-life fanatics around the world.
