Capitalism hasn’t failed. What’s failing is the mixed economy hodgepodge of federal and state regulations with their cross purposes and unintended consequences. In other words, political tampering with what remains of the once “free market.” Adding more socialism to this mix is not the answer.

Your brand of socialism would pile on a plethora of taxes, regulations, and cross-purposes, creating am economic and regulatory jumble on political steroids.

Marxism, camouflaged as “social democracy,” boils down to the loss of freedom and eventual stagnation. Bad idea.
