When I was a child and was occasionally fresh to my mother, she would say in a stern voice, “Don’t be BOLD.”
Perhaps she meant “Don’t be fresh,” but I interpreted it more fundamentally.
I thought it meant not to be bold in ANY of my actions.
As I grew up, and bold action was called for, I was timid instead.
This made me appear shy and reserved.
Boldness in life is essential if you want to get a date, find a job, create something new, or accomplish anything worthwhile in life.
Life’s challenges require boldness.
If the meek ever inherit the earth it will be a very boring place where little gets accomplished.
The bold, those willing to step forward, take risks, fail if necessary, but be ready to win, are those who move the world.
Boldness is essential for a healthy human ego to function as it was designed.
This is why the enemies of human freedom and earthly happiness attack the ego.
It represents the essential boldness of the risk-taker and creator.
Without boldness, it is difficult to achieve your dreams.
When you make choices be bold, focus on the facts, and take action.
That will win the day.
