My latest book is my attempt to apply Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism to the issues of ego and egoism.
My intention, in its 323 pages, is to make the case for a strong, healthy ego, and explain why it’s so important to the achievement of your values.
A few key points:
When your ego is strong more things seem possible.
A strong, healthy ego works for you. It helps you face whatever you are confronted with, with confidence and an assumption of potential success.
Your ego, as the driver of your life, needs the same kind of knowledge and endurance that a long-distance driver needs.
My book is a driver’s manual for a healthy ego.

A man’s mind is an attribute of his self, of that entity within him which is his consciousness. That entity can be called spirit. It can be called soul. It remains — no matter what its origin — a man’s self. His “I.” His ego. — Ayn Rand
